Raising Capital for our business

We have been set a challenge to raise £200 back-up capital for our company. We have to do this in two weeks with a starting loan of £50. To start raising the money, we decided to have a cake sale within the Kingswood Academy. This went extremely well. This helped us to decide whether or not to do another cake sale at the Kingswood Aademy open evening. We did and again this went extremely well. Overall, in one day we raised around £95 profit after paying back the loan.
What we are doing
Christmas Fair

After finding out that there was a small Christmas fair at our school, we immediately knew we had to attend and booked a stall straight away. We thought this was a perfect time to sell our product because it was near Christmas and people would be looking for presents. This event went very well and the skills we needed to sell came naturally. We ended up making £90 and are hoping to attend more events.
